Abstract: We analyzed Hong Kong Exchange buyback activity for the week ended May 22nd, covering 66 companies with aggregate repurchases of HKD 1,529 million. This week's total was 64.1% lower than the HKD 4,262 million recorded in the prior week, and the number of active repurchasers declined 14.3% week-on-week. The top three repurchasers for the week were Tencent (700 HK) at HKD 500.6 million, AIA (1299 HK) at HKD 414.6 million, and China Ruyi (136 HK) at HKD 102.5 million. Other notable buyers included Xiaomi (1810 HK) at HKD 100 million, JD Health (6618 HK) at HKD 78 million, Wanguo Gold Gp (3939 HK) at HKD 50 million, Flat Glass (6865 HK) at HKD 30 million, and JD Logistics (2618 HK) at HKD 18 million. Over the trailing 30 days, China Hongqiao (1378 HK) led with HKD 3,463 million in buybacks, representing 1.04% of shares outstanding.
