Abstract: We analyzed Hong Kong Exchange buyback data for the week ended June 5th, covering repurchases across one-week, one-month, one-quarter, and one-year periods. Total buybacks last week reached HKD 7,513 million, up 26.9% from HKD 5,919 million the prior week, with 106 companies participating, 14.0% more than the previous week. The top three repurchasers over the past 7 days were AIA (1299 HK) at HKD 3,021.8 million, Tencent (700 HK) at HKD 1,733.6 million, and Xiaomi (1810 HK) at HKD 399.7 million. Notable weekly movers also included Li Auto (2015 HK) at HKD 284 million and Minso (9896 HK) at HKD 138 million, both returning to buybacks after a four-week absence. Over the past 30 days, AIA led with HKD 7,269 million, followed by Tencent at HKD 5,740 million and China Hongqiao (1378 HK) at HKD 3,080 million, with total 30-day buybacks reaching HKD 25,986 million across 144 companies.
