Abstract: We analyzed ASX short interest data as of June 5th for stocks with market capitalization of at least USD 100m. Aggregate short interest was USD 47,805m, down 1.3% week-on-week, while the ASX200 index fell 1.2% over the same period. On the increase side, Pro Medicus (PME AU) saw the largest rise in short value at +USD 145m (+41.0%), followed by Wesfarmers (WES AU) at +USD 97m (+13.4%) and Northern Star Resources (NST AU) at +USD 55m (+34.1%). On the decrease side, Computershare (CPU AU) posted the sharpest ADT-adjusted unwind at -2.4x ADT (-40.7% in short value), while Pilbara Minerals (PLS AU) recorded the largest absolute reduction at -USD 265m (-15.4%).
