Abstract: We analyzed the latest HK SFC short position report as of July 10th, covering aggregate short interest across Hong Kong-listed equities. The aggregate short value increased by $3,848m (+2.9%) week-on-week and by $1,361m (+1.0%) over the preceding four weeks. On the short increase side, Alibaba (9988 HK) led with a surge of +$928m (+60.8% WoW), followed by Tencent (700 HK) at +$657m (+20.2%), Lenovo (992 HK) at +$600m (+19.0%), Xiaomi (1810 HK) at +$546m (+12.7%), and CCB (939 HK) at +$269m (+21.5%). On the short cover side, Kingboard Laminates (1888 HK) saw the largest reduction at -$551m (-36.8% WoW), followed by Knowledge Atlas (2513 HK) at -$341m (-23.6%), Catl (3750 HK) at -$296m (-9.0%), and Yofc (6869 HK) at -$212m (-25.2%).
