KRX Foreign Holding Weekly (May 8th): Samsung Electronics, Samsung Elec (PREF), SKSQUARE, SK Hynix

Abstract: We analyzed changes in foreign holdings of KRX-listed stocks as of May 8th, with total foreign holdings across stocks with market cap of at least USD100m at USD1,578bn, up from USD1,429bn a week prior. We estimate net foreign inflows of USD196m for the week, while foreign holdings increased USD148bn (10.4% WoW), underperforming the KOSPI index which rose 13.6% over the same period. On the inflow side, Samsung Electronics led with USD1,502m of weekly inflows, followed by SK Hynix (USD571m), Doosan Robotics (USD214m), HANWHA SOLUTIONS (USD114m), and LG Electronics (USD102m). The largest weekly outflows were recorded in Samsung Elec (PREF) (-USD649m), SKSQUARE (-USD627m), LS ELECTRIC (-USD376m), SamsungElecMech (-USD172m), and Samsung SDI (-USD143m).
