Abstract: We analyzed foreign holding changes in KRX-listed stocks as of May 1st, covering names with market cap of at least USD100m. Total foreign holdings stood at USD1,429.5bn, up USD36bn (2.6% WoW) from USD1,394bn a week ago. We estimate net foreign inflows of USD3,051m for the week, outpacing the KOSPI index gain of 1.9%. On the inflow side, KorZinc led by a wide margin with USD4,850m in weekly inflows, followed by Hanmi Semi (USD224m) and Samsung Electronics (USD224m). On the outflow side, SK Hynix saw the largest weekly outflow at USD1,220m, followed by LS ELECTRIC (USD390m) and HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC (USD231m).
