Abstract: We analyzed changes in foreign holdings of KRX stocks as of May 29th, with aggregate foreign holdings at USD1,611bn, up 4.8% WoW from USD1,537bn the prior week. We estimate net foreign flows were outflows of USD2,209m for the week, underperforming the KOSPI index which rose 8.0%. The largest weekly outflows were concentrated in Samsung Electronics (minus USD1,236m), SK Hynix (minus USD950m), Mobis (minus USD903m), Hyundai Motor (minus USD436m), and LG Innotek (minus USD353m). On the inflow side, Samsung Elec (PREF) led with plus USD504m, followed by Samsung SDI (plus USD147m), ECOPROBM (plus USD105m), Hanwha Ocean (plus USD103m), and Alteogen (plus USD92m).
