Abstract: We analyzed Hong Kong Stock Exchange buyback data for the week ending September 4th, covering repurchases across 1-week, 1-month, 1-quarter, and 1-year periods. Total buybacks last week amounted to HKD 2,506 million across 128 companies, roughly in line with HKD 2,588 million the prior week, though the number of participating companies rose 85.5% week-on-week. Tencent (700 HK) led the weekly rankings with HKD 701.4 million in repurchases, followed by Link Reit (823 HK) at HKD 180.6 million and Li Auto (2015 HK) at HKD 165.2 million. Notable first-time buyers over the past four weeks included Geekplus (2590 HK) at HKD 106 million, SF (6936 HK) at HKD 98 million, Wasion (3393 HK) at HKD 76 million, and Miniso (9896 HK) at HKD 55 million. Over the trailing 12 months, Tencent dominated with HKD 62,369 million in cumulative buybacks, with Xiaomi (1810 HK) second at HKD 17,638 million and AIA (1299 HK) third at HKD 13,635 million.
