Abstract: We analyzed Hong Kong Exchange buyback data for the week ended July 3rd, covering repurchases across 143 companies. Total buybacks amounted to HKD 4,740 million, a decline of 33.4% from HKD 7,120 million in the prior week, though the number of participating companies rose 1.4% week-on-week. Tencent (700 HK) led all repurchases with HKD 2,002.9 million, followed by Li Auto (2015 HK) at HKD 499.1 million and Xiaomi (1810 HK) at HKD 300.5 million. Meituan (3690 HK) and GCL Technology (3800 HK) also featured prominently, with HKD 200 million and HKD 151 million respectively. Over the trailing 30 days, aggregate buybacks totaled HKD 26,267 million across 184 companies, with Tencent again dominating at HKD 9,640 million, ahead of AIA (1299 HK) at HKD 2,587 million and Li Auto at HKD 2,002 million.
