Abstract: We analyzed Hong Kong stock buyback activity for the week ended July 24th, covering repurchases across all HKEx-listed companies. Total buybacks last week amounted to HKD 1,189 million, roughly in line with the prior week's HKD 1,245 million, with 108 companies participating, down 12.9% week-on-week. The top three repurchasers over the past seven days were Xiaomi (1810 HK) at HKD 202 million, Link Reit (823 HK) at HKD 124 million, and Sinopec (386 HK) at HKD 58 million. Notable names with no buybacks in the prior four weeks that returned to the market include Jlmag (6680 HK), which repurchased HKD 44 million representing 1.16% of shares outstanding, and Sunshine Pharma (6887 HK) at HKD 43 million or 1.26% of free float. Over the trailing 30 days, Tencent (700 HK) dominated with HKD 4,224 million in repurchases, followed by Li Auto (2015 HK) at HKD 919 million and Xiaomi at HKD 804 million, out of a total market-wide HKD 13,623 million across 188 companies.
