TWSE Short Interest Weekly (Oct 30th): AP Memory Technology, Nan Ya Plastics, Wiwynn, MediaTek

Abstract: We analyzed changes in short interest for TWSE stocks as of October 30th. Aggregated short interest was USD39,663m, down 2.5% from USD40,698m a week earlier, while the TWSE index fell 1.8% over the same period. The largest weekly increases in short value were Nan Ya Plastics (+US$307m, 37.0%), TSMC (+US$147m, 13.8%), and Yageo (+US$98m, 15.1%). The largest weekly decreases were MediaTek (-US$185m, -21.9%), LARGAN Precision (-US$132m, -13.4%), AP Memory Technology (-US$117m, -50.2%), Wiwynn (-US$115m, -30.7%), and BizLink (-US$110m, -26.8%).
