TWSE Short Interest Weekly (Oct 22nd): Wiwynn, Nan Ya Plastics, Delta Electronics, Nanya Technology

Abstract: We analyzed the changes in short interest of TWSE stocks as of Oct 22nd. The aggregated short interest was USD40,698m, down 4.0% from USD42,397m a week ago. Short interest decreased by 4.0% last week while the TWSE index decreased by 2.3%. The largest weekly increases in short value came from Nan Ya Plastics, up USD192m or 30.1%, Nanya Technology, up USD160m or 14.5%, Delta Electronics, up USD98m or 18.1%, and TSMC, up USD97m or 10.0%. The largest weekly decrease came from Wiwynn, down USD884m or 70.2%, followed by MediaTek, down USD153m or 15.4%, LARGAN Precision, down USD113m or 10.2%, and Nanya Technology, down USD106m or 30.4%.
