TWSE Short Interest Weekly (Oct 2nd): Shin Kong Financial, Gold Circuit Electronics, Wistron

Abstract: We analyzed TWSE short interest for stocks with market cap of at least USD 100m as of October 2nd. Aggregate short interest was USD 41,431m, up 0.2% week-on-week, while the TWSE index rose 0.9% over the same period. The largest short by value remains Innolux (3481 TT) at USD 1,305m, followed by TSMC (2330 TT) at USD 1,114m and Zhen Ding Technology (4958 TT) at USD 1,020m. The biggest weekly increase in short value was Zhen Ding Technology (up USD 243m, +31.3%), followed by Gold Circuit Electronics (2368 TT, up USD 218m, +89.1%) and Yageo (2327 TT, up USD 122m). The largest short reduction was Wistron (3231 TT), which saw short value fall USD 413m (-51.8%), followed by King Yuan Electronics (2449 TT, down USD 185m) and Nanya Technology (2408 TT, down USD 96m).
