Abstract: We analyzed southbound Hong Kong Connect flows for the week ending July 24th, estimating total net inflows of USD 1,080.8 million into Hong Kong stocks by mainland investors, representing the third consecutive week of inflows but 76.3% lower than the USD 4,557.9 million recorded two weeks prior. The HSCEI returned 1.8% over the same period. At the sector level, Materials (USD 982 million), Fund (USD 729 million), and Health Care (USD 377 million) led inflows, while Consumer Discretionary (USD 473 million), Financials (USD 391 million), and Communication Services (USD 96 million) saw the largest outflows. On the inflow side, TraHK HSI ETF (2800 HK) attracted USD 606 million, Knowledge Atlas (2513 HK) received USD 371 million, and Ntes (9999 HK) drew USD 288 million. On the outflow side, Tencent (700 HK) saw USD 439 million leave, Kingboard Laminates (1888 HK) recorded USD 370 million in outflows (6.75% of free float), and Meituan (3690 HK) saw USD 256 million exit.
