Abstract: We analyzed TWSE short interest for stocks with market cap of at least USD 100m as of Jul 24th. Aggregate short interest was USD 43,087m, up 1.9% week-on-week, while the TWSE index rose 2.3%, meaning short interest growth lagged the broader market. The largest increases in short value were led by Wiwynn (6669 TT, +USD 363m), BizLink (3665 TT, +USD 354m), and Nanya Technology (2408 TT, +USD 307m). The largest decreases were in ASE Industrial (3711 TT, -USD 206m) and UMC (2303 TT, -USD 199m). By absolute short value, Quanta Computer (2382 TT) remained the most shorted stock at USD 2,593m, followed by Wiwynn at USD 1,876m.
