Abstract: We analyzed foreign holdings of TWSE-listed stocks as of September 18th, covering securities with market cap above USD 100m. Total foreign holdings stood at USD 2,282bn, up from USD 2,268bn a week ago, a gain of USD 14bn or 0.6% week-on-week. We estimate net foreign inflows of USD 2,372m for the week, underperforming the TWSE index which rose 2.2% over the same period. On the inflow side, Wistron (3231 TT) led with +USD 1,305m, followed by MediaTek (2454 TT) at +USD 581m, Nanya Technology (2408 TT) at +USD 410m, Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing (6770 TT) at +USD 253m, and Alchip Technologies (3661 TT) at +USD 244m. The largest outflows were recorded in TSMC (2330 TT) at -USD 973m, Nan Ya Plastics (1303 TT) at -USD 294m, and Wiwynn (6669 TT) at -USD 280m.
