TWSE Foreign Holding Weekly (Sep 11th): TSMC, Delta Electronics, ASE Industrial, MediaTek, Wistron

Abstract: We analyzed changes in foreign holdings of TWSE stocks as of September 11th, covering companies with a market cap of at least USD 100m. Total foreign holdings stood at USD 2,268bn, down USD 3bn (0.1% WoW), while the TWSE index fell 0.8% over the same period. We estimate net foreign flows were inflows of USD 938m for the week. The top weekly inflow names were TSMC (+USD 1,298m), ASE Industrial (+USD 515m), MediaTek (+USD 450m), WT Microelectronics (+USD 390m), and Nanya Technology (+USD 342m). The largest weekly outflows were in Delta Electronics (-USD 611m), Wistron (-USD 439m), Alchip Technologies (-USD 332m), Hon Hai Precision (-USD 249m), and Genius Electronic Optical (-USD 154m).
