TWSE Foreign Holding Weekly (Oct 2nd): MediaTek, TSMC, Zhen Ding Technology, Winbond Electronics

Abstract: We analyzed changes in foreign holdings of TWSE stocks as of Oct 2nd, with aggregated holdings of USD2,366.8bn. We estimate weekly foreign flows at an outflow of USD839m, as foreign holdings rose just USD1bn (0.0% WoW) while the TWSE index gained 0.9%. Top weekly inflows went to Zhen Ding Technology (+USD390m), Winbond Electronics (+USD335m), Nanya Technology (+USD284m), Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing (+USD247m), and Unimicron Technology (+USD209m). Top weekly outflows came from MediaTek (-USD1,239m), TSMC (-USD723m), Delta Electronics (-USD301m), Gold Circuit Electronics (-USD283m), and King Yuan Electronics (-USD196m).
