Abstract: We analyzed TWSE foreign holding data as of Jun 12th, covering stocks with market cap of at least USD100m. Total foreign holdings stood at USD2,216bn, down from USD2,283bn a week ago, a decrease of USD67bn or 2.9% WoW. We estimate net foreign flows were outflows of USD9,356m for the week, underperforming the TWSE index which declined 2.0% over the same period. The largest weekly outflows were concentrated in TSMC (-USD4,336m), MediaTek (-USD1,203m), Yageo (-USD1,092m), Quanta Computer (-USD595m), and Delta Electronics (-USD550m). On the inflow side, UMC led with +USD420m, followed by WT Microelectronics (+USD247m), Winbond Electronics (+USD218m), United Integrated Services (+USD153m), and First Financial (+USD128m).
