Abstract: We analyzed changes in foreign holdings of KRX stocks as of September 11th, covering stocks with market cap of at least USD100m. Total foreign holdings stood at USD1,714bn, up from USD1,657bn a week prior, a gain of USD58bn (3.5% WoW), slightly outpacing the KOSPI index which rose 3.3% over the same period. We estimate net foreign inflows for the week at USD1,692m, indicating broad buying interest in Korean equities. On the inflow side, SK Hynix led with USD998m, followed by SKSQUARE (USD372m), Samsung Elec Pref (USD166m), KAL (USD124m), and SK Innovation (USD116m). On the outflow side, DB HiTek saw the largest exit at USD131m, followed by EO Technics (USD121m), HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (USD81m), WONIK IPS (USD75m), and TES (USD72m).
