Abstract: We analyzed weekly changes in foreign holdings of KRX stocks as of October 2nd, with aggregated foreign holdings of USD1,724.3bn. We estimate weekly foreign flows were outflows of USD6,402mln. Foreign holdings decreased by USD31bn, or 1.8% week on week, while the KOSPI index fell a smaller 1.1% over the same period. SK Hynix led outflows at USD3,655mln and Samsung Electronics followed with USD1,654mln, while SamsungElecMech lost USD293mln and Doosan Enerbility lost USD157mln in foreign holdings. Woori Financial was the top inflow stock, gaining USD419mln in foreign holdings despite its share price falling 5.2% over the week.
