Abstract: We analyzed A-H premium changes for 179 dual-listed China stocks as of May 1st, with the average A-H premium at 70.1%, up 1.5ppt week-on-week and flat over four weeks. The premium expanded across 115 stocks and contracted in 64. Sector gains were led by Real Estate (+10.2ppt) and Consumer Discretionary (+4.3ppt), while Communication Services (-2.4ppt) and Utilities (-2.1ppt) saw the largest declines. Among individual stocks, the largest premium increases came from Cig Shanghai (+25.7ppt), Gac (+21.6ppt), and Great Wall Motor (+18.1ppt, z-score 3.2), while the largest decreases were recorded in Jiangsu Lopal Tech. (-27.4ppt, z-score -2.3), China Suntien (-14.1ppt), and China Longyuan Power (-12.7ppt). China Life and China Oilfield Services both hit 52-week lows in A-H premium, falling 8.4ppt and 7.8ppt respectively, while CATL posted a statistically significant increase of 8.8ppt (z-score 3.0).
