Abstract: We analyzed TWSE short interest for stocks with market cap of at least USD 100m as of Jun 26th. Aggregated short interest was USD 45,070m, up 26.6% week-on-week, while the TWSE index fell 4.1%. The largest short by value was Quanta Computer (2382 TT) at USD 2,597m, followed by Innolux (3481 TT) at USD 1,569m and Wiwynn (6669 TT) at USD 1,394m. The biggest weekly increase in short value was Innolux (3481 TT) with a rise of USD 397m (+33.8%), while the largest decreases were in Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing (6770 TT) at -USD 413m (-44.5%) and King Yuan Electronics (2449 TT) at -USD 340m (-50.8%). Shin Kong Financial was also highlighted for notable short interest movement during the week.
