Abstract: We analyzed changes in foreign holdings of TWSE stocks as of July 31st, with aggregate foreign holdings totaling USD2,114bn across stocks with market cap of at least USD100m. We estimate net foreign flows were outflows of USD2,089m for the week, with total holdings declining USD10bn (0.5% WoW), outperforming the TWSE index which fell 1.2%. The largest weekly outflows were concentrated in TSMC (USD1,635m), MediaTek (USD747m), Delta Electronics (USD644m), Chroma ATE (USD350m), and Unimicron Technology (USD274m). On the inflow side, PharmaEssentia led with USD342m in weekly inflows, followed by Chunghwa Telecom (USD220m), Eva Airways (USD181m), Nan Ya Plastics (USD160m), and Compeq Manufacturing (USD129m).
