MSCI China Index Earning Revision (Jul): TENCENT, MAXSCEND MICROELECTRONICS, MEITUAN, XIAOMI, JD.COM

Abstract: We analyzed the consensus earnings revisions for MSCI China index constituents for July 2026. The index rose 8.5% over the month (from 70.36 to 76.34), while the aggregate 2026E index EPS edged up 0.15% month on month to 6.357, with 129 stocks revised up versus 193 revised down. On individual stock EPS impact, Tencent (700 HK) contributed the largest positive index EPS attribution (+¥0.018, driven by weight drift), while JD.com (9618 HK) was the largest detractor (-¥0.017, on a 15.3% EPS cut). Among the sharpest EPS revisions, Maxscend Microelectronics (300782 CH) and Jiangsu Etern (600105 CH) led to the upside with 2026E EPS revised up +323% and +314% respectively, while Seres (601127 CH) and Chongqing Zhifei Biological Products (300122 CH) saw the steepest cuts at -86.8% and -83.1%. On revenue estimates, Shenzhen Longsys Electronics (301308 CH) posted the largest upgrade (+38.6%) and Seres the largest downgrade (-27.4%).
