MS-China Index Earning Revision (May): Xinjiang Daqo, TENCENT, MEITUAN, TONGWEI, XIAOMI, PDD, NTES

Abstract: We analyzed earnings revisions for MS-China index constituents in May 2026, finding the index 2026E EPS declined 1.1% month on month to 6.353 from 6.420, with 182 stocks revised up and 260 revised down. The MS-China index fell 3.5% over the month to 76.05, with individual stock EPS revisions contributing -¥0.0725 to the index EPS change. PDD had the largest negative impact at -¥0.025 to index EPS, followed by TENCENT at -¥0.015, while NETEASE provided the largest positive contribution at +¥0.0097. Among individual stock EPS revisions, TONGWEI (+458%) and Xinjiang Daqo (+327%) posted the sharpest increases, while NEW HOPE LIUHE (-73.9%) and MAXSCEND MICROELECTRONICS (-54.6%) saw the steepest declines. On the revenue side, XIAMEN TUNGSTEN led increases at +88.0% while WINGTECH TECHNOLOGY saw the largest cut at -80.4%.
