Abstract: We analyzed A-share margin trading positions for stocks with market cap of at least USD 500m as of May 29th. The aggregated net margin trading position stood at USD 394,952m, up from USD 389,895m a week prior. The overall net margin position increased 1.3% last week, outpacing the CSI 300 index gain of 1.0%, with 1,843 stocks seeing margin loan positions increase versus 1,169 declining. Among the top movers by weekly position change, MONTAGE (688008 CH) led inflows with a net increase of USD 581m (+27.6%), followed by BOE (000725 CH, +USD 290m, +16.9%) and ADVANCED MICRO-FABRICATION EQUIPMENT INC. CHINA (688012 CH, +USD 287m, +50.6%). On the outflow side, ZHONGJI INNOLIGHT (300308 CH) saw the largest reduction at -USD 601m (-15.1%), followed by EOPTOLINK TECHNOLOGY (300502 CH, -USD 546m, -20.6%) and CAMBRICON (688256 CH, -USD 340m, -8.1%). INDUSTRIAL BANK (601166 CH) saw the sharpest relative unwind, with its net position falling USD 194m (-11.5%), representing a 0.92x ADT reduction, the third largest in that metric.
