Abstract: We analyzed A-share margin trading positions for stocks with market cap of at least USD 500m as of June 5th. The aggregated net margin trading position was USD 397,280m, up from USD 394,952m the prior week, a 0.6% increase, while the CSI 300 index declined 1.5% over the same period. Among 3,160 stocks tracked, 2,100 saw margin loan positions increase and 1,060 saw decreases. On the buy side, CATL (300750 CH) led weekly inflows with a net increase of USD 264m, followed by SHENZHEN ENVICOOL TECHNOLOGY (002837 CH) at USD 154m and HUAQIN TECHNOLOGY (603296 CH) at USD 84m. On the sell side, ZHONGJI INNOLIGHT (300308 CH) saw the largest outflow at USD 388m, followed by BOE (000725 CH) at USD 247m and GUOTAI HAITONG SECURITIES (601211 CH) at USD 202m. By ADT multiple, GUOTAI HAITONG SECURITIES and Zoomlion (000157 CH) recorded the sharpest weekly declines at 0.82x and 0.74x ADT respectively.
