Abstract: We analyzed the EPS revision of STAR50 component stocks for May 2026, estimating the index's 2026E EPS at ¥24.38 as of end-May, down ¥0.39 (-1.6%) from ¥24.77 in April, with 15 stocks revised up versus 14 revised down. The STAR50 index itself rose 11% over the month from 1,571 to 1,751, and individual stock EPS revisions contributed -¥0.435 to the index EPS change. The largest positive contributor to index EPS was Cambricon (688256 CH), with a +¥0.30 index EPS impact driven by a 21.0% EPS upgrade, while the largest drag came from Jinko Solar (688223 CH) at -¥0.30 and Bestechnic (688608 CH) at -¥0.22. At the stock level, Xinjiang Daqo (688303 CH) led EPS upgrades at +327% month-on-month, followed by United Nova Technology (688469 CH) at +60.0%, while Bestechnic saw the steepest EPS cut at -43.5%, with revenue estimates also falling 23.0%. On revenue, Cambricon posted the strongest upgrade at +25.2%, while solar names dominated the downside, with Jinko Solar (-17.2%), Trina Solar (-9.25%), and CSI Solar (-7.19%) all seeing material cuts.
