NIKKEI 225 Index Earning Revision (Sep): Advantest, Kioxia, Fujikura, Tokyo Electron, TDK, ARCHION

Abstract: We analyzed the earnings revision of NIKKEI 225 component stocks for September 2026, estimating the index's 2027E EPS rose 1.5% month-on-month to 3,131 from 3,083, with 154 stocks revised up versus 55 revised down. Individual stock EPS revisions contributed an estimated +¥56.1 to the index EPS change, against a backdrop of the index rising 0.67% from 66,312 to 66,754. The top positive contributors to index EPS were Advantest (6857 JP, +¥8.8), Kioxia (285A JP, +¥8.0), Fujikura (5803 JP, +¥7.0), Tokyo Electron (8035 JP, +¥6.2), and TDK (6762 JP, +¥2.3). Among individual stock EPS revisions, ARCHION (543A JP) led gains at +65.8%, followed by Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (9101 JP, +28.8%) and Mitsubishi Materials (5711 JP, +28.1%), while Tokyo Electric Power Company (9501 JP, -18.6%) and Aeon (8267 JP, -11.1%) posted the steepest cuts.
