Abstract: We analyzed the earnings revision of KOSPI 200 component stocks for September 2026, with the index's 2026E EPS declining -0.43% month on month to 164.5 from 165.2 in August. The index itself rose 0.93% over the period, from 1,072 to 1,082, while 92 stocks saw upward EPS revisions versus 67 downward. Individual stock EPS changes contributed -0.688 to the index EPS in aggregate. The largest negative contributor was Samsung Electronics (005930 KS), which dragged index EPS by -0.76 on a -1.2% EPS cut, while SK Innovation (096770 KS) was the top positive contributor at +0.095, driven by a +34.7% EPS revision. Among the biggest movers, KCC (002380 KS) posted the largest EPS increase at +41.5%, while LG Chem (051910 KS) saw the steepest cut at -60.1% and SKCHEM (285130 KS) fell -45.8%, though SKCHEM led revenue estimate increases at +5.38% month on month.
