Abstract: We analyzed A-H premium changes across 184 dual-listed Chinese stocks for the week ending June 5th, finding an average A-H premium of 76.3%, down 0.6 percentage points week-on-week and up 6.1 percentage points over the past four weeks. The overall premium narrowed modestly, with 104 stocks seeing declines versus 80 with increases. Health Care was the weakest sector (down 4.5ppt) while Materials led the gains (up 4.6ppt). On individual stocks, the largest premium expansions were in Shanghai Pechem (up 52.0ppt to 230.1%), Yankuang Energy (up 19.8ppt to 92.9%, a 52-week high), and Goldwind (up 19.3ppt to 116.7%), while the sharpest contractions were in Zhejiang Shibao (down 31.3ppt to 323.3%), Cofoe Medical (down 26.1ppt), and Haier Smarthome (down 10.8ppt to 11.7%, z-score of -3.4). On a z-score basis, the most statistically extreme movers were Shanghai Pechem (z=4.7) and Yankuang Energy (z=3.4) on the upside, and Haier Smarthome (z=-3.4) and Times Electric (z=-2.4) on the downside.
