Abstract: We analyzed A-H premium changes across 196 dual-listed A-H stocks for the week ending August 21st, with the average A-H premium at 79.8%. The average premium declined by 3.0ppt week-on-week, with 151 stocks seeing premiums decrease versus 45 increasing, led by weakness in Communication Services (-5.2ppt), Utilities (-4.9ppt), and Health Care (-3.7ppt). The largest premium increases were in Cansinobio (+39.6ppt, reaching a 52-week high at 202.8%), Sicc (+20.7ppt), Shandong Molong (+14.2ppt), Holly Futures (+13.3ppt), and Nexchip (+12.5ppt). The largest premium decreases were in Pharmaron (-24.1ppt, z-score -4.1), Datang Power (-19.5ppt), Smic (-18.0ppt), Nanhua Futures (-18.5ppt), and China South Air saw a notable increase of +6.2ppt to reach a 52-week high of 80.9%, while Gtht fell -12.1ppt, Yankuang Energy dropped -12.0ppt, and China Telecom declined -8.7ppt.
