Thailand Short Interest Weekly (Apr 3rd): Intouch, CP AXTRA NVDR, SCC, Kasikornbank, Srisawad

Abstract: We analyzed short interest changes on the Stock Exchange of Thailand as of Apr 3rd, covering stocks with minimum market capitalization of USD100 million and minimum short interest of USD5 million, with aggregate short interest totaling USD3,410m. Aggregate short interest decreased 3.1% week-on-week, while the SET50 index increased 0.4%, indicating short covering against a rising market. On the increase side, Airports of Thailand (AOT TB) led with a short value rise of +USD14m (+5.9%), followed by Minor International (MINT TB, +USD4m) and Ngern Tid Lor (TIDLOR TB, +27.2% in short value). On the decrease side, Delta Electronics (DELTA TB) saw the largest short value reduction of -USD22m (-5.6%), followed by SCC (SCC TB, -USD19m, -11.8%), Kasikornbank (KBANK TB, -USD19m, -10.5%), PTT E&P (PTTEP TB, -USD17m, -6.3%), and Srisawad (SAWAD TB, -18.8%).
