Abstract: We analyzed short interest changes across KRX-listed stocks with market capitalizations of at least USD 100m as of March 27th, with aggregated short interest totaling USD 14.6bn. Aggregate short interest decreased by 2.1% week-over-week, a smaller decline than the KOSPI index which fell 5.9% over the same period. Among the largest weekly short decreases, HyundaiEng&Const saw the steepest drop at -US$69m (-31.9%), followed by HDKSOE at -US$30m (-46.6%) and HYBE at -US$27m (-27.0%), while ECOPROBM declined US$37m (-10.0%). On the increase side, Hanmi Semi led with a US$51m (+5.4%) rise in short value, pushing its total short interest to US$996m and its short-to-ADT ratio to 3.0x.
