Abstract: We analyzed changes in foreign holdings of KRX-listed stocks as of April 3rd, covering names with a market cap of at least USD 100m. Total foreign holdings stood at USD 1,098bn, down from USD 1,121bn a week prior, a decline of USD 23bn or 2.1% WoW, outpacing the KOSPI's 1.1% weekly decline. We estimate net foreign flows were outflows of USD 7,419m for the week. On the outflow side, Samsung Electronics led with USD 3,572m in weekly outflows, followed by SK Hynix at USD 2,592m, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries at USD 174m, Hyundai Motor at USD 151m, and KB Financial at USD 142m. On the inflow side, Samsung SDI attracted the largest weekly inflows at USD 133m, followed by Sanil Electric at USD 86m, Hanwha Aerospace at USD 67m, SCD at USD 63m, and Hyundai Rotem at USD 62m.
