A-H Premium Weekly (Apr 3rd): Great Wall Motor, China Coal Energy, China Minsheng Banking

Abstract: We analyzed A-H premium changes across 181 dual-listed Chinese stocks for the week ending April 3rd, 2026. The average A-H premium stood at 70.1%, rising 0.7 percentage points week-on-week, with 99 stocks seeing premium increases and 82 seeing decreases. Energy led sector gains with a 4.6 percentage point increase, while Utilities saw the largest decline at 3.1 percentage points. On a z-score basis, the most statistically significant movers were China Coal Energy (601898 CH / 1898 HK, +8.6ppt, z=2.54), China Minsheng Banking (600016 CH / 1988 HK, +4.8ppt, z=2.05), and China Everbright Bank (601818 CH / 6818 HK, +6.3ppt, z=1.96) on the upside, and Great Wall Motor (601633 CH / 2333 HK, -12.9ppt, z=-2.09) and Dynagreen (601330 CH / 1330 HK, -38.1ppt, z=-4.19) on the downside.
